Hybrid Tea ‘ Double Delight ‘
Standard Roses

A Hybrid Tea ‘Double Delight’ Standard Rose is a stunning tree-form rose that combines dramatic colour, strong fragrance, and elegant structure. The variety Rosa ‘Double Delight’ is one of the most famous hybrid tea roses in the world, admired for its large, perfectly shaped blooms and powerful spicy scent.

As a standard rose, it is grafted onto a tall, straight stem—usually around four feet high—creating a clear trunk with a rounded canopy of glossy green foliage and flowers at the top. This elevated form gives the plant a graceful, formal appearance, making it ideal for entrances, pathways, patios, or as a feature in garden beds.

The flowers are the true highlight. Each bloom opens creamy white and gradually develops deep crimson-red edges as it matures and receives sunlight, creating a beautiful two-tone effect. The contrast between the soft cream centre and the rich red margins makes every flower look hand-painted. The blooms are large, full, and classically shaped, often borne singly on long stems, which also makes them excellent for cutting.
