Cercis canadensis ‘Forest Pansy’

Cercis canadensis ‘Forest Pansy’ is a highly ornamental cultivar of the Eastern Redbud, valued for its dramatic foliage and spectacular spring flowering. It produces abundant clusters of rosy-pink to reddish-purple pea-shaped flowers that emerge directly from the branches and trunk, creating a distinctive and eye-catching display. Following flowering, attractive heart-shaped leaves emerge in rich burgundy, wine-red, and deep purple tones. The rounded, heart-shaped leaves and naturally graceful branching structure give the tree an elegant appearance even when it is not in flower.
