Camellia sasanqua ‘Paradise Blush’ is a charming evergreen shrub admired for its soft, blush-pink flowers and compact growth habit. The semi-double blooms appear from autumn through early winter, featuring delicate pale pink petals that gradually fade to near white toward the centre, highlighted by golden-yellow stamens. The flowers create a gentle, romantic display during the cooler months.

The foliage is glossy, dark green, and dense, providing year-round structure and making it an excellent choice for hedging or screening. ‘Paradise Blush’ typically grows around 2–3 metres tall and maintains a naturally upright, tidy shape. It responds well to pruning, allowing it to be shaped easily or kept at a desired height.

This camellia prefers well-drained, slightly acidic soil and grows best in a partly shaded to sunny position. It is relatively hardy and more sun-tolerant than many other camellia varieties once established. Regular watering during dry periods and mulching around the base will support healthy growth and abundant flowering.
