Callistemon ‘Red Rocket’ is a small and very colourful shrub, with bright red new growth on dark older foliage.
It makes a great contrast plant, and is very low maintenance.
Perfect for low hedges and screening up to 1.5m height.
It can be used for informal hedging, but pruned regularly it can create a good formal coloured foliage hedge.
Grows well in most soil types, dry or wet conditions, and is good for sun to part shade.
Frost tolerant.
