Old Man Banksia

A robust native Australian banksia with green-cream brushes during spring and autumn.

A small to medium sized tree with leathery serrated leaves and creamy yellow to brown large flowers in summer. The flowers are followed by interesting pods.

Suited to seaside gardens too.
Grows naturally on the coast from TAS to QLD, so very adaptable as to climate, and mature size will vary accordingly.
