Stella Cherry is a popular self-fertile sweet cherry variety (Prunus avium), prized for its large, dark red to almost black fruits that are juicy, sweet, and richly flavoured. It typically ripens in early to mid-summer and is ideal for fresh eating, baking, or preserving.

The tree is compact and upright in growth, reaching about 3–5 meters (10–16 feet) tall, making it suitable for smaller gardens. In early spring, it produces beautiful white blossoms, which not only signal the fruiting season but also attract pollinators. Being self-pollinating, Stella doesn’t require another cherry tree nearby to set fruit, though nearby cherry trees can increase yields. It prefers a sunny location with well-drained soil and benefits from winter chilling to set a good crop.
