Hydrangea macrophylla ‘Bailmer’, commonly sold as Endless Summer® The Original, is a popular reblooming hydrangea valued for its long flowering season and reliable performance. This mophead variety produces large, rounded flower heads from late spring through summer and often into autumn.

One of its standout features is its ability to bloom on both old and new wood, meaning it can continue flowering even after cold winters or pruning. The blooms range from soft pink in alkaline soils to rich blue in acidic soils, allowing gardeners to influence colour by adjusting soil pH.

The foliage is lush and mid-green, forming a full, rounded shrub that typically grows about 1–1.5 metres tall and wide. It works beautifully in garden beds, borders, and large containers.

‘Bailmer’ prefers well-drained, fertile soil and thrives in a partly shaded position, protected from harsh afternoon sun. Regular watering is essential, as hydrangeas perform best in consistently moist soil.
