Lime ‘ Tahitian ‘ Dwarf

Dwarf Tahitian Lime (Citrus × latifolia – Dwarf variety) is a compact, evergreen citrus tree prized for its juicy, nearly seedless fruits and fragrant leaves. This dwarf variety is ideal for home gardens, patios, balconies, and container growing because it grows slowly and remains much smaller than the standard Tahitian lime.
The tree typically reaches 1.5–2 m in height with a dense, bushy growth habit. Its glossy green leaves are smooth and aromatic, and the small white flowers bloom throughout the warm months, attracting pollinators.

Fruits are medium-sized, oval, green, and turn light yellow when ripe, with juicy, acidic flesh that is excellent for juices, beverages, cooking, desserts, and cocktails. The tree may have a few small thorns, but is generally easier to handle than larger lime varieties.

Dwarf Tahitian lime thrives in full sun to partial sun and requires well-drained, fertile soil. Regular watering is important, but waterlogging should be avoided. Light pruning encourages a compact shape and fresh leaf growth. It responds well to organic compost and citrus fertilizer, making it a low-maintenance, high-yielding plant for small spaces.
