African Daisies

African daisies (Osteospermum) are hardy, sun-loving perennials celebrated for their bright, daisy-like blooms. Native to South Africa, they create compact mounds about 20–40 cm tall, making them perfect for garden beds, borders, and containers. Their flowers come in a wide range of colors—purple, pink, white, yellow, orange, and bi-color—often with striking blue or dark centers and sometimes unique spoon-shaped petals.

These plants thrive in full sun and well-drained soil, showing good drought tolerance once established. With regular deadheading, they flower from spring through autumn, bringing vivid, long-lasting color to landscapes with minimal maintenance.
